Admissions Policy

Our school provides a comprehensive and challenging American and Montessori education for students from ages 3 to 18, with the intention of complementing the American High School courses with the International Baccalaureate in Grades 11 and 12. It is the first school in Egypt to seek Montessori accreditation.

Criteria for admission

·       Students applying to Gateway International Montessori School should be physically, socially-emotionally and cognitively ready to enter into classes according to their age.

·    Birthdays should fall within the expected age range for enrollment in each grade level. These age ranges are determined by the ministry of education for each academic year.

·        Assessments are conducted by members of our academic team and give us an opportunity to see each applicant’s ability in various fields, and in particular English and Mathematics. Their ability to interact with our team will also be evaluated. This is important as we want to ensure that our curriculum is suited to each individual child’s needs.
