Will the student Have his/her own Room, or will he/she be sharing with another student?

Every Student will share either a room with another student ,same Gender ,or will be in a single room with extra cost.

From the Website , I understand there are structured routines and supervision in place. Could you please share a bit more about how supervision and safety are managed in the Dorms, for example, whether a Dorm parent or staff member is present overnight?

There will be Gateway Housemaster/Mistress for the Boarding School. Gateway Housemaster is typically responsible for the Students’ welfare, Pastoral Care and Dormitory management.

He / She is the emergency contact.The Dorms , are in a separate area from guests in which also boys are away from girls and the supervision is 24 hours. There are Cameras for more safety and supervision .

May I also ask about the visitor policy? Are visitors allowed in the dorms, and if so, what are the usual visiting hours or procedures?

Visitors are not allowed in Dorms. However, they can meet in the Reception or the Hotel Restaurant or they can meet outside if they want but during weekends according to the scheduled timing.

What are the regulations and procedures concerning holidays and leave for Boarding Students?

Students may spend weekends or holidays with parents, approved relatives, approved guardians but with prior written approval from parents and School administration . The exit and return times must be strictly respected.

Since the Dorm is located in Vibotel, will the student’s room be on the same floor as other hotel guests, or is there a separate area for students?

The Dorms are in different building and floor separated from guests.

What does the Boarding Fee include? For instance, does it cover meals, Laundry and other daily services?

The school Boarding ( Accommodation ) includes the following:

-10 months

-3 meals and 1 snack-Breakfast in Accommodation

-Lunch at School

-Dinner in Accommodation

-Snack in Accommodation

-Most types of Sports are available with qualified trainers in School premises at certain extra fees.

-Your son/daughter is covered by an insurance policy included in the Boarding Fees ). If your son/daughter is accepted in Gateway, we can give you the details of the insurance policy.

-24 hours Supervision in Accommodation.

- Payment could be in Egyptian Pounds , however, USD rate will be according to the time of applying .

Will there be a staff who handle room and common area cleaning , or are students expected to take care of this themselves?

Students will take care of this themselves as part of character building which is being independent , however if they need someone to handle it for any reason , then it will be with extra cost.

Who will be Responsible for The Visa and Residency? ( Non-Egyptian Students )

Non-Egyptian Students are responsible for:

-Valid Entry Visa

-The School may provide supporting documents for valid residency permit but is not legally responsible for visa approval or renewal.

-All penalties related to visa overstay or legal violations are the responsibility of parents/Guardians.
