Culinary Activity

As part of students’ Term 3 Performance Task, the Grade 4-6 students conducted a culinary activity that led to a dish party. Students were divided into groups and each group were assigned to make a dish ( Spanish or Chinese).

Creative Book Report

Gateway's celebration of the Reading Month.

When we emphasize "ARTS" in "English Language Arts", we give our students the opportunity to express their learning through creative ways.

During the English week, one of the activities that combined the passion for reading with creative expression was the Creative Book Report. Students from grades 1-10 selected a book and presented the story elements in their unique way. Most importantly, they expressed why they loved the book they selected and the lessons learned from it.

We hope you enjoy seeing how students presented their favorite book in a creative way, just as much as they enjoyed creating them and sharing their projects.

Spelling Bee Competition

Lower Elementary Spelling Bee Activity.

Our Lower Elementary Students enjoyed the annual Spelling Bee Activity that was held in the School Auditorium on March 6th. The event focuses on the concept of participation and learning through our mistakes. The beauty of such activities is that our students learn to support and encourage each other while continuously moving forward as a team.

Pedagogical Day

On Thursday, March 9th, 2023 Gateway International Montessori School 2nd Pedagogical day was held. It provided all our staff members with an intimate environment and interactive space that always allows for relationship building and engagement. All of the teachers and staff members got together, and acquired new knowledge in a real-life setting while honing practical skills to boost their on-the-job productivity.
