Creative Book Report

Gateway's celebration of the Reading Month.

When we emphasize "ARTS" in "English Language Arts", we give our students the opportunity to express their learning through creative ways.

During the English week, one of the activities that combined the passion for reading with creative expression was the Creative Book Report. Students from grades 1-10 selected a book and presented the story elements in their unique way. Most importantly, they expressed why they loved the book they selected and the lessons learned from it.

We hope you enjoy seeing how students presented their favorite book in a creative way, just as much as they enjoyed creating them and sharing their projects.

Spelling Bee Competition

Lower Elementary Spelling Bee Activity.

Our Lower Elementary Students enjoyed the annual Spelling Bee Activity that was held in the School Auditorium on March 6th. The event focuses on the concept of participation and learning through our mistakes. The beauty of such activities is that our students learn to support and encourage each other while continuously moving forward as a team.

Pedagogical Day

On Thursday, March 9th, 2023 Gateway International Montessori School 2nd Pedagogical day was held. It provided all our staff members with an intimate environment and interactive space that always allows for relationship building and engagement. All of the teachers and staff members got together, and acquired new knowledge in a real-life setting while honing practical skills to boost their on-the-job productivity.

Nestle Pure Life School's Project

Gateway International Montessori School was honored to host Nestle Pure Life School's Project amazing team on Monday , February 27th. The 3- hour awareness campaign which was highly well organized , interactive and enjoyable made our LE children practice easily and smoothly how to reduce, reuse and recycle. In other words , the objectives of these activities rotated around 3 main topics: recycling importance, water conservation, & the importance of hydration in our daily life.
Gateway community members are so grateful for Nestle Pure Life , who together with the LE teachers, made our Lower Elementary children enjoy and learn remarkable lessons about how to develop their wellbeing, knowledge, and sense of sustainability.

Book Character Day

Colorful characters brighten up our day! Our Students and teachers celebrated Book Character Day with a splash of colors inspired by 'The Day the Crayons Quit'. Each teacher dressed up as a different crayon, reminding us that diversity and individuality make our world more vibrant. And students dressed up as their favorite book characters.

The Year of rabbit

Mandarin Grades 1 to 10 students in
Gateway International Montessori School
Celebrated the Chinese New Year; year of the rabbit 🐰 on Thursday, February 9th, 2023.

On the school stage, our students'
singing ,lively performances and presentations enriched their audience with lots of interesting facts about the Chinese rich traditions and customs ,
and how they celebrate their new year; moreover, they shared with their friends and teachers what the Chinese zodiacs are and what each sign stands for.

Gateway International Montessori School has become an IB World School for the Diploma Programme! Congratulations to all our community: students, parents and staff members. This is great news for current and future students and their parents: Grade 11 and Grade 12 students of the Gateway International Montessori School now have the opportunity to attend one of the most popular and internationally recognized programmes: International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Finally, Gateway International Montessori School is sending a token of appreciation and gratitude to each and every member in its IB Diploma Programme team who has worked diligently for the past 2 years to make this dream become a reality.

The First Place in the Volleyball Tournament

Great News! Dear Gateway Community,It is with pride and honor to announce that Gateway International Montessori School won the First Place in the Volleyball Tournament (mix gender) under 16 years old on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. The tournament is organized by the International Schools Sports of Cairo (ISSOC) that embraces many elite international schools.There are 5 participating international schools and our team under the guidance of our Senior Physical Education teacher, Mr. Hazem Mahmoud, won the First Place. Soccer Tournament - Boys U16It: is with pride and honor to announce that Gateway International Montessori School won the third place in the Soccer tournament for boys under 16 years old on Sunday, January 22, 2023. The tournament is organized by the International Schools Sports of Cairo (ISSOC) that embraces many elite international schools.Our Soccer team under the guidance of our Senior Physical Education teacher, Mr. Hazem Mahmoud, played with great passion and determination.
